Gulf Coast INLETS: Violent Crimes & Terrorism Trends

For the second year running, the Gulf Coast Intel and Law Enforcement Training Seminar (INLETS) will be offering training sessions to address the most pressing issues facing officers and agencies today. This year’s event is taking place on April 10–14 in New Orleans and will be led by the FBI, the Maryland Coordination & Analysis Center (the state fusion center), and InfraGard.

With this year’s focus on violent crimes and terrorism trends, expect a series of in-depth workshops that will delve into homicide investigations, ISIS and homegrown violent extremism, social media exploitation, and interview and interrogation techniques.

Subject matter experts including the French National Police, the FBI profiler program and Homeland Security Investigations will also present case studies of active shooter and large scale terror attacks, arson and bombing crime scenes, criminal trends, investigative resources, and more.
